SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Dion Phaneuf's wrist shot with 50 seconds left in regulation and his assist on Jarome Iginla's overtime goal Tuesday allowed Calgary to knock off San Jose 4-3.
Daymond Langkow and Mark Smith also scored for Calgary, which has won three of its last four games Miika Kiprusoff made 40 saves for the Flames.
Patrick Rissmiller, Marcel Goc and Milan Michalek had staked the Sharks to a 3-2 lead but Evgeni Nabokov gave up two more goals to take the loss. Nabokov managed just 14 saves.
San Jose is still 3-1-1 on its six-game home stand.
