EDMONTON, Alberta, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Evgeni Nabokov needed just 13 saves Tuesday to notch a shutout in the San Jose Sharks' 3-0 road victory over the Edmonton Oilers.

Joe Pavelski scored the game winner midway through the second period, and Mike Grier and Patrick Rissmiller (empty-netter) added a goal and assist each to ice San Jose's third win in a row.

The Sharks peppered Oilers goalie Mathieu Garon with 38 shots.
