With Nashville putting lots of pressure on Mathieu Garon during a first-period power play, Ville Koistinen fired a shot from the right point. Garon made the save, but Dumont tapped in the rebound 9:31 into the contest.

Jerred Smithson scored on a partial breakaway two minutes later to make it 2-0 and Radulov delivered his first goal of the season late in the period. Radulov's second goal was the final score of the game and came 6:54 into the third.
