NBA: Washington 108, Charlotte 104

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Two free throws by Antawn Jamison with 12 seconds left Wednesday secured Washington's 108-104 victory over Charlotte.

Charlotte cut a nine-point, fourth-quarter deficit to three in the closing seconds, but Jamison boosted the Bobcats' advantage to five with the last of his 26 points. Jamison added 14 rebounds.

Caron Butler scored 25 points and Roger Mason had a career-best 24, helping the Wizards end a three-game losing streak. Wizards Coach Eddie Jordan claimed his 200th victory.

Charlotte was led by 32 points from Gerald Wallace. Jason Richardson scored 27.

There have been 14 all-time meetings between the teams and Washington has won 11 of them.
