Jameer Nelson added 21 points for Orlando, winners of six out of seven. Zydrunas Ilgauskas chipped in 18 for the Cavaliers.

James hit a jump shot from the corner with 13 seconds left in overtime to put Cleveland in front by a point. Howard was then fouled by Drew Gooden, leading to the winning free throws.

James drove the lane in the closing seconds, but when Hedo Turkoglu tried to make a steal, a jump ball was called with only seven-tenths of a second to go. James lost the tip as time ran out.
