NHL: Edmonton 4, Calgary 2

CALGARY, Alberta, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Shawn Horcoff scored twice in the third period Saturday night to help the Edmonton Oilers beat the Calgary Flames, 4-2.

Horcoff's goal total this season rose to seven, with his sixth tally at 7:48 of the third creating a 3-1 lead, and his seventh at 13:37 capping the scoring.

Edmonton also got one goal each from Sam Gagner and Robert Nilsson (power play).

Goalie Mathieu Garon stopped 37-of-39 shots for the Oilers, who broke a four-game losing streak.

Calgary's goals were scored by Alex Tanguay in the first and Robyn Regehr (power play) in the third.

Goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff was beaten four times on 35 shots for the Flames, whose losing streak rose to five straight games.

On the power play, Edmonton was 2-for-6, and the Flames went 1-for-7.
