NHL: Carolina 4, Florida 2

RALEIGH, N.C., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Matt Cullen had a goal and an assist Saturday night as the Carolina Hurricanes beat the Florida Panthers, 4-2.

Trevor Letowski, Chad LaRose and Cory Stillman also scored once. Stillman extended his point streak to seven straight games.

Rod Brind'Amour and Jeff Hamilton had two assists apiece and goalie John Grahame made 22 saves on 24 Florida shots for the Hurricanes, who have won two of three.

Jay Bouwmeester and Richard Zednik scored once each and goaltender Tomas Vokoun was beaten four times on 40 shots, as the Panthers had a two-game winning streak broken.

On the power play, Carolina was 2-for-4, while Florida was 0-for-2.
