TORONTO, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Nik Antropov scored with less than a minute left Thursday night, as the Toronto Maple Leafs rallied to edge the Florida Panthers, 3-2.
The 6-foot-6 inch Antropov scored his sixth goal of the new season with 27.6 remaining, breaking a 2-2 tie.
Toronto also got second period goals from Jason Blake and Bryan McCabe (power play), and tied the game during a 5-on-3 advantage at 6:49 in the second.
Center Matt Sundin had two assists, while goalie Vesa Toskala stopped 26-of-28 shots for the Maple Leafs, who ended a two-game skid.
Florida's goals were scored by Rostislav Olesz and David Booth in the first period.
Goaltender Craig Anderson yielded three goals on 27 shots for the Panthers, who had a three-game winning streak broken.
On the power play, both clubs went 1-for-5.
