NHL: Chicago 2, Dallas 1 (OT)

CHICAGO, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Jason Williams scored less than a minute into overtime Saturday night, as the improved Chicago Blackhawks beat the Dallas Stars, 2-1.

Dallas got a first-period goal from Brenden Morrow, while Chicago's Robert Lang scored on the power-play with less than a minute left.

Lang also had one assist, and goalie Patrick Lalime gave up a goal on 18 shots for the Blackhawks, who have won three of their last four games.

Goaltender Tobias Stephan stopped 38-of-40 shots for the Stars, who had won two of three coming into the game.

On the power play, Dallas was 1-for-4, and Chicago went 2-for-8.
