NFL: Dallas 34, Chicago 10

CHICAGO, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Tony Romo withstood Chicago’s pass rush, throwing for 329 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Dallas Cowboys to a 34-10 win over the Bears Sunday night.

Romo was sacked three times by the Bears (1-2), but stood in to complete 22 of 35 passes, including TD passes to Jason Witten and Marion Barber in the third quarter.

Terrell Owens led the Cowboys (3-0) receivers with eight catches for 145 yards. Marion Barber III ran for 102 yards and a 1-yard touchdown that closed out the scoring late in the game.

Chicago quarterback Rex Grossman was 15-of-32 for 195 yards and was also sacked three times.

After the first half ended in a 3-3 tie, Romo found Witten for a 3-yard touchdown and Barber for a 10-yard score. In between, Chicago’s Cedric Benson ran for a 1-yard touchdown that tied the game, 10-10.

Those were the last points the Bears would put up, as Dallas intercepted two passes to stifle two Chicago drives in the fourth quarter.
