MLB: Cleveland 6, LA Angels 1

ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 9 (UPI) -- C.C. Sabathia hurled a complete-game five-hitter Saturday night, as the Cleveland Indians beat the LA Angels of Anaheim, 6-1.

The only support the big southpaw needed came in the form of a fifth-inning throwing error by Jeff Mathis, and a sixth-inning RBI single by Jhonny Peralta. Cleveland’s Grady Sizemore had two hits, one an RBI triple in the eighth.
