MLB: Florida 7, LA Dodgers 2

LOS ANGELES, July 8 (UPI) -- Hanley Ramirez had four hits and scored twice Saturday night, as the Florida Marlins beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-2.

Miguel Cabrera had a home run and two RBI for the Marlins, who won their third straight. Josh Willingham smacked a two-run homers and Todd Linden hit his first homer of the season.

Marlins' starter Sergio Mitre (3-4) allowing 11 hits, but held the Dodgers to two runs in seven innings.

LA starter Derek Lowe (8-8) allowed five runs on 10 hits, with six strikeouts and three walks in 6 1/3 innings.

James Loney had four hits; Jeff Kent had two hits, one RBI and one run; and Juan Pierre had two hits and scored one run for the Dodgers -- who lost their fourth straight.

The Dodgers had the bases loaded with one out in the fourth, but managed to score just one run in the inning.
