The Spurs won the first-round series in five games after losing the opener on their home court. They are seeking their fourth NBA title in nine years.

Finley scored a playoff-best 26 points, all but two of them coming from long range. Tim Duncan added 23 and Tony Parker had 16 for the Spurs.

Finley's eight tres came on nine attempts. The rest of the Spurs were two of 12 from beyond the arc.

Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson both scored 21 to lead Denver, although Iverson made just six of 22 shots from the field.

This is the fourth straight season the Nuggets have been eliminated from the playoffs in the opening round.
