NBA: Golden State 111, Dallas 82

OAKLAND, Calif., April 18 (UPI) -- Mickael Pietrus scored 22 points off the bench and was one of seven Warriors in double figures Tuesday as Golden State crushed the Dallas Mavericks 111-82.

Golden State, which is one game ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, can clinch a postseason spot if it can defeat Portland Wednesday, the final night of the regular season. The Warriors can also clinch if the Clippers lose at home against the Hornets.

Matt Barnes recorded a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Jason Richardson chipped in 14 and Stephen Jackson 13 for the Warriors, who have won four straight and eight of their last nine games.

Baron Davis had 12 points, while Monta Ellis and Al Harrington each posted 11 in the victory, as Golden State moved closer to its first trip to the playoffs since the 1993-94 season.

Maurice Ager poured in 20 points for the Mavericks, who rested all their starters. Jose Barea netted 13 points and grabbed 10 boards, while Devin Harris added 13 points off the bench and Devean George added 12 in defeat.
