NHL: Anaheim 3, Minnesota 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., April 14 (UPI) -- Francois Beauchemin scored twice and Ilya Bryzgalov had 30 saves Friday night as Anaheim beat Minnesota, 3-2, to go up 2-0 in their Western Conference series.

Travis Moen had two assists and Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and an assist for the Ducks.

Marian Gaborik and Mikko Koivu scored and Nicklas Backstrom allowed three goals on 25 shots for the Wild -- who lost their sixth straight playoff game with Anaheim dating back to the 2003 Western Conference finals.

Beauchemin opened the scoring on the power play with 6:41 remaining in the first period. Minnesota got the equalizer at 3:33 of the second, also on the power play, when Gaborik got his own rebound and put the puck in the net.

Beauchemin got his second goal at 16:17 of the second to put the Ducks up, 2-1, and Getzlaf scored the decisive goal at 18:43 of the second, with Anaheim a man down.

Game 3 is set for Sunday in St. Paul, Minn.
