NBA: Miami 92, Minnesota 77

MINNEAPOLIS, March 30 (UPI) -- Udonis Haslem had 19 points and 14 rebounds Friday night to lead the Miami Heat past the Minnesota Timberwolves, 92-77.

Miami had a 47-37 halftime lead, but Minnesota came within four points, 61-57, late in the third quarter before running out of steam.

Eddie Jones had 18 points and six rebounds. James Posey totaled 16 points, seven rebounds, six assists and two steals; while Shaquille O'Neal and Jason Williams scored 15 points each for the Heat, who vaulted into first place in the Southeast Division, 1/2 game ahead of Washington.

Kevin Garnett led Minnesota with 22 points and 20 rebounds. Marc Blount had 18 points and four rebounds, while both Ricky Davis and Randy Foye scored 10 points for the Timberwolves, who have lost their last three games and four of five.
