NBA: Dallas 105, Milwaukee 103

DALLAS, March 28 (UPI) -- Jason Terry sank a go-ahead free throw with 29.8 seconds left Wednesday night to help Dallas edge Milwaukee, 105-103, for its eighth straight win.

In its latest victory, Dallas overcame injuries to star forwards Dirk Nowitzki and Josh Howard.

Nowitzki twisted his left ankle with 3:42 left in the second quarter.

He returned briefly in the third.

Howard sustained a right ankle injury late in the game.

Terry led Dallas with 27 points and five assists.

Jerry Stackhouse had 21 points and three assists; Nowitzki and Howard both scored 17 points; and Devin Harris had 13 points, five rebounds, and four assists for the Mavericks, who overcame a 62-54 halftime deficit to get their 60th win of the season (60-11), which ties a franchise record.

Michael Redd led Milwaukee with 34 points and five rebounds.

Mo Williams had 17 points, six rebounds, and eight assists; while Ruben Patterson scored 16 points for the Bucks, who have a four-game losing streak.
