PHILADELPHIA, March 10 (UPI) -- Dimitry Afanasenkov stood out Saturday and the Philadelphia Flyers scored three times in the third period to beat the Boston Bruins, 4-1.
Afanasenkov had a goal and and assist. Simon Gagne, Mike Richards and Scottie Upshall also scored for the Flyers, who have won two of their last three games.

Martin Biron stopped 26-of-27 shots for Philadelphia.
Dennis Wideman scored the Bruins lone goal.
Boston has lost four straight and six of its last eight games.
Boston goalie Joey MacDonald made 25 saves.
