NBA: Indiana 93, Detroit 92

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Darrell Armstrong scored his only point with under one second left Friday night as Indiana edged Detroit, 93-92.

Jermaine O'Neal led the Pacers with 25 points and 13 rebounds as they won for the fourth time in their last five games.

Al Harrington had 16 points and seven rebounds; while Stephen Jackson added 15 points, two rebounds, and two assists.

The game was tied, 92-92, with three seconds remaining before Armstrong made one of two free throw attempts to give Indiana the win.

Before he suffered a major injury, Chauncey Billups had 23 points and a career high 12 rebounds for the Pistons, who have lost two in a row following a five-game winning streak.

He will be out at least 10 days because of a right calf strain.

Richard Hamilton had 22 points, four rebounds, and two assists; and reserve Jason Maxiel had 12 points and four rebounds.

Because of illness, Rasheed Wallace played only 21 minutes.
