NHL: San Jose 4, Calgary 1

SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 24 (UPI) -- San Jose's Evgeni Nabokov made 21 saves as the Sharks downed the visiting Calgary Flames, 4-1, Saturday night.

Marcel Goc, Milan Michalek, Mark Smith and Scott Hannan all scored for the Sharks, who won their second in three games. Hannan's goal was on an empty net with 42 seconds remaining in the final period.

Matthew Lombardi scored the lone tally for the Flames, who have lost two of their last three games. Former San Jose netminder Miikka Kiprusoff made 28 saves in the loss.

Calgary did not have a power play in the game, while San Jose finished 0-for-2 with the man advantage.
