EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Jeff Garcia threw a go-ahead touchdown pass to Reggie Brown Sunday to help the Philadelphia Eagles beat the New York Giants, 36-22.

The scoring pass -- with under three minutes left in the contest -- gave Philadelphia a 29-22 lead, and was part of a 22-point fourth quarter.

The Eagles had a 14-10 halftime lead, but fell behind, 16-14, early in the fourth.

Garcia was 19-for-28 for 237 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the Eagles (8-6).

Brian Westbrook rushed for two touchdowns and 97 yards on 19 carries, and Brown caught four passes for Philadelphia, which won its third straight game.

Victories against Dallas and Atlanta in the next two weeks would give the Eagles the NFC East title.

Tiki Barber and Brandon Jacobs both ran for one touchdown for the Giants (7-7), who lost for the fifth time in their last six games -- but are still in the hunt for an NFC playoff berth.
