NBA: Portland 101, LA Lakers 90

PORTLAND, Ore., Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Zach Randolph had 36 points and 10 rebounds Wednesday night, leading Portland past the LA Lakers, 101-90.

Portland led, 25-23, after the first quarter, and 55-49 at halftime, but had to withstand a late rally -- fueled by Kobe Bryant -- as the Lakers came within, 93-86, with just under two minutes to play.

Jarrett Jack had 12 points, two rebounds, six assists, four steals and six turnovers. Stephen Graham had 11 points and three rebounds, while Jamaal Magloire added eight points and 11 rebounds for the Trailblazers, who have won two of three outings.

Bryant had 32 points, three rebounds and six turnovers. Luke Walton had 22 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals. Lamar Odom had 11 points, five rebounds and six assists, but committed six turnovers for the Lakers, who have dropped two of their last three games.

Portland out-rebounded the Lakers, 36-28.
