NHL: Calgary 6, Phoenix 1

CALGARY, Alberta, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- The Calgary Flames burned the Phoenix Coyotes, 6-1, Tuesday, helped by Roman Harmrlik's goal and assist.

Chuck Kobasew, Kristian Huselius, Tony Amonte, Jarome Iginla and Marcus Nilson also scored for Calgary; Miikka Kiprusoff made 26 saves as the Flames snapped a three-game skid.

Calgary was 3-for-10 on the power play and added a shorthanded goal, while holding Phoenix to 0-for-9 with the man advantage.

Mike Morrison allowed three goals on nine shots before being replaced in the second period by Curtis Joseph, who blocked 18 shots.

Owen Nolan scored the Coyotes only goal. Phoenix committed 15 penalties and suffered its fourth straight defeat.
