MLB: Philadelphia 12, Florida 3

PHILADELPHIA, July 29 (UPI) -- Chase Utley extended his hitting streak to 29 games Saturday night while helping Philadelphia clobber Florida, 12-3.

Utley had two hits, including a solo home run, three RBI and two runs scored; Ryan Howard hit a three-run homer; Pat Burrell, who scored three times, hit a solo shot; Chris Coste had a run, two hits and two RBI; and Aaron Rowland had two runs, two hits and one RBI for the Phillies (47-54), who have won three of their last four games.

Winner Cole Hamels (3-5) gave up three runs and five hits in 7 1/3 innings with two walks and seven strikeouts.

Josh Willingham hit a two-run homer, and Dan Uggla hit a sacrifice fly for the Marlins (48-54), who had only five hits and have split their last four games.

Losing pitcher Dontrelle Willis (6-8) surrendered eight runs and five hits in 2 1/3 innings with three walks and two strikeouts.
