MLB: Tampa Bay 13, Baltimore 12

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., July 22 (UPI) -- Julio Lugo hit two home runs and had four RBI in a wild and high-scoring contest Saturday night, as Tampa Bay edged Baltimore, 13-12.

While trailing, 3-0, in the bottom of the fifth, Tampa Bay scored 10 runs, but the Orioles responded with nine runs in the seventh.

Russell Branyan, who also homered, had three hits and four RBI; and Dioner Navarro had two runs, three hits and two RBI for the Devil Rays (41-57).

Jeff Conine had two hits and three RBI, Corey Patterson had five hits and two RBI, and Brian Roberts had four hits and an RBI for the Orioles (44-55).

The winner was Shawn Camp (3-0), and the loser was Rodrigo Lopez (6-11).

Brian Meadows earned his fifth save for the Devil Rays, who have won two in a row following a seven-game losing streak.

Baltimore has dropped its last four games.
