KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 6 (UPI) -- John Buck and Reggie Sanders combined for four RBI Wednesday night as Kansas City beat Minnesota, 6-3.
Mark Grudzielanek had two runs and three hits, Angel Berroa had two runs and one hit, and Matt Stairs had two hits for the Royals (29-54), who have won two in a row and four of their last six games.

In relief, the winner was Jeremy Affeldt (4-5). Ambiorix Burgos recorded his 14th save.
Joe Mauer hit a two-run single, and Nick Punto hit an RBI single for the Twins (46-37), who have lost two straight games.
The loser was reliever Jesse Crain (2-5).
Minnesota had won 19 of 20 before losing to the Royals, 7-2, on Tuesday night.
