'S-HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands, June 22 (UPI) -- Mario Ancic and Marcos Baghdatis Thursday were among the quarterfinal winners at the Ordina Open Tennis Tournament in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.
Ancic, the No. 3 seed from Croatia, beat unseeded Fabrice Santoro of France, 6-4, 6-0; Baghdatis, who was beaten by Roger Federer in the title match at the Australian Open, advanced when his opponent, Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany, retired with a shoulder injury.
After two sets, Kohlschreiber trailed, 6-2, 3-0.
In other matches, Florent Serra of France beat former world No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero of Spain, 6-3, 6-7 (7-4), 6-3; and Jan Hernych of the Czech Republic beat Hyung-Taik Lee of Korea, 6-4, 6-4.
Ferrero won the French Open in 2003.
In Friday's semifinals, Serra will play Hernych; and Ancic faces Baghdatis.
Saturday's champion will claim $55,000.
