MLB: Chicago WSox 20, St. Louis 6

CHICAGO, June 20 (UPI) -- Joe Crede hit two home runs and was one of four White Sox to drive in three runs Tuesday as Chicago routed St. Louis, 20-6.

Paul Konerko, A.J. Pierzynski and Juan Uribe also had three RBI for the White Sox, who pounded out 24 hits to win their fifth straight. Jermaine Dye and Crede each had four hits with Crede scoring four runs in the game.

Javier Vazquez (8-4) was the winning pitcher as he allowed just two runs on seven hits.

Chris Duncan hit a two-run homer and Scott Spiezio drove in a pair of runs for the Cardinals, who had a four-game winning streak halted. So Taguchi had two hits while scoring twice.
