MLB: Cleveland 11, Oakland 2

CLEVELAND, June 7 (UPI) -- Aaron Boone and Grady Sizemore hit home runs Wednesday night as Cleveland trounced the Oakland Athletics, 11-2.

Victor Martinez, who drew a bases-loaded walk, had one hit and drove in three runs; Sizemore had three runs, three hits and one RBI; both Jason Michaels and Jhonny Peralta had one run and two hits; and Ben Broussard had two hits and two RBI for the Indians (29-29), who have won two of their last three games after losing three of four.

Winner Paul Byrd (5-4) scattered eight hits and two runs over seven innings with one walk and four strikeouts.

Marco Scutaro and Frank Thomas each drove in one run, and both Bobby Kielty and Nick Swisher had two hits for the Athletics (28-31).

Oakland has lost twice in its last three games.

Losing pitcher Joe Blanton (5-6) surrendered 10 hits and six runs in five innings with three walks and three strikeouts.
