SEATTLE, June 4 (UPI) -- Emil Brown and John Buck hit home runs Sunday as Kansas City beat the Seattle Mariners, 9-4.
Reggie Sanders had one run, two hits and three RBI; Mark Teahen had two hits and one RBI; Tony Graffanino had one run, one hit and one RBI; and Estaban German had two runs and one hit for the Royals (14-40), who broke a three-game losing streak, winning for the first time in their last 10 games at Seattle.
Winner Mark Redman (1-4) gave up four runs and eight hits in 5 2/3 innings. Elmer Dessens earned his first save.
Adrian Beltre homered; Richie Sexon had one hit and knocked in a run; and Mike Morse had two hits and one RBI for the Mariners (25-33), who had a three-game winning streak snapped.
Loser Jarrod Washburn sank to 3-7 after giving up eight hits and seven runs in 4 1/3 innings.
