MLB: Pittsburgh 4, Milwaukee 3

PITTSBURGH, June 1 (UPI) -- Ryan Doumit hit an RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the ninth Thursday afternoon as Pittsburgh edged Milwaukee, 4-3, to complete a four-game sweep.

Jeromy Burnitz had two runs and two hits for the Pirates. Jose Castillo, who had hit home runs in the past three contests, had one run, one hit and three RBI, and Freddy Sanchez had two hits for the Pirates (20-34), who outscored Milwaukee, 36-9, in the series.

Winner John Grabow rose to 1-1 after getting the final out.

Carlos Lee hit his 18th home run, Corey Hart had two hits and one RBI while Brady Clark added one run and two hits for the Brewers (26-28), who have dropped five straight games.

Milwaukee closer Derrick Turnbow (2-2) took the loss, after he blew a save for the third time this season.
