Arizona's Eric Byrnes hit a pair of solo home runs and Chad Tracy connected for a 3-run homer in the seventh that put the Diamondbacks up 7-6.

Endy Chavez opened the New York ninth with a double and scored on Reyes' single. Two batters later, Wright singled off the center-field wall to get the winning run in.

Byrnes homered in the first but the early lead vanished when New York scored four times in the second, with Javier Valentin's 2-run double the big hit in the rally.

The Diamondbacks fought back to a 4-4 tie with consecutive sacrifice flies in the fourth and Byrnes' second home run in the fifth.
