MLB: Detroit 7, Cincinnati 6 (10 inn)

DETROIT, May 20 (UPI) -- Curtis Granderson hit a home run with two outs in the ninth Saturday and an error led to the winning run in the 10th as Detroit beat Cincinnati, 7-6.

With runners on first and third in the bottom of the 10th, Craig Monroe hit a slow chopper toward Cincinnati shortstop Felipe Lopez -- who seemed to hesitate when gloving the ball. Lopez threw the ball low and wide of first baseman Rich Aurilia, enabling Carlos Guillen to score the winning run.
