OAKLAND, Calif., May 18 (UPI) -- Bobby Crosby had two hits and drove in two runs Thursday as Oakland beat Seattle, 6-3, to complete a three-game sweep.
Frank Thomas had one hit and two RBI; Nick Swisher had two runs, one hit and one RBI; Mark Kotsay had two runs, one hit and one RBI; and Mark Ellis had three hits for the Athletics (21-19), who have won four games in a row.
Swisher has reached base safely in 35 straight games.
Winner Kirk Saarloos (2-1) allowed two runs and eight hits in 6 2/3 innings with one walk and two strikeouts. Huston Street picked up his sixth save.
Ichiro Suzuki had one run, four hits and one RBI; Yuniesky Betancourt had one run and one hit; and Willie Bloomquist scored a run for the Mariners (17-25), who have lost five of their last seven games.
Losing pitcher Joel Pineiro fell to 4-4.
