MIAMI, March 11 (UPI) -- Jason Richardson had a career-high 44 points, six rebounds and three assists Friday night as Golden State beat the Miami Heat, 111-106.
Troy Murphy added 18 points and 12 rebounds; Derek Fisher totaled 14 points, five assists, three rebounds and three steals; and Baron Davis had 13 points, six assists and three rebounds for the Warriors (26-36), who broke a four-game losing steak. Golden State had not won at Miami since Nov. 24, 1993, a span of 10 games.
Dwyane Wade had a season-high 42 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals; Shaquille O'Neal added 21 points, 15 rebounds, three assists and blocked four shots; and both James Posey and Antoine Walker scored 10 points for the Heat (40-21), who lost at home for the first time this season to a sub-.500 team.
The Warriors won the battle of the boards, 39-34.
