NHL: Toronto 2, Florida 1

SUNRISE, Fla., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Bryan McCabe scored the winning goal on a two-man advantage midway through the third period Monday as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Florida Panthers, 2-1.

Ed Belfour, who made 34 saves, picked up his 447th career victory, tying Terry Sawchuk for second place on the NHL's all-time list. Patrick Roy is first all-time with 550 career wins.

Darcy Tucker scored the other Toronto goal, his ninth of the season, as the Leafs kicked off a stretch of four games in six nights with a win. Toronto has won six of its last eight games.

Roberto Luongo turned aside 24-of-26 shots for the Panthers, who have lost 13 of their last 14 games. Stephen Weiss scored the lone goal and former Maple Leaf Joe Nieuwendyk got an assist.
