NBA: San Antonio 96, Sacramento 93

SACRAMENTO, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Tony Parker logged 23 points and Tim Duncan had 22 for the San Antonio Spurs, who edged the Sacramento Kings, 96-93, at ARCO Arena.

Both players went 9-of-16 from the floor for the Spurs, who led by as many as 17 points in the second half.

For the Kings, Mike Bibby dropped in a game-best 33 points while Bonzi Wells compiled 18 points and 14 rebounds. The Kings played without leading scorer Peja Stojakovic, who sat out with a sprained small finger on his right hand. Rookie Francisco Garcia started in Stojakovic's place and delivered career-highs of 12 points and 36 minutes of play.
