Two tied for the Tour Championship lead

ATLANTA, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Bart Bryant and defending champion Retief Goosen share the lead after 36 holes at the Tour Championship in Atlanta.

Bryant, who set a new course record on Thursday with a 62, shot 2-under 68 Friday, while Goosen, a two-time U.S. Open winner, carded a 4-under 66. The pair is tied at 10-under-par 130, three shots better than Tiger Woods (67), Scott Verplank (66) and Ben Crane (65), who are tied at 7-under-par 133.

Tim Clark (67) is alone in sixth place at 6-under 134, followed by Stuart Appleby (65) and Charles Howell III (68), who share seventh place at 5-under 135.

Padraig Harrington (66), Luke Donald (67) and Olin Browne (67) are tied for ninth at 3-under 137.

Goosen is trying to make tournament history. If he wins the event on Sunday, he will become its first multiple winner.
