NEW YORK, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Miroslav Satan scored on a shoot-out goal as time expired Wednesday night to give the New York Islanders, a 3-2 win over the New York Rangers.
The goal was Satan's second of the contest.

Alexei Yashin also had a tally for the Islanders (3-3-0) and Rick DiPietro 33 saves on the 35 shots he faced after missing the last two games because of a concussion. The Islanders, who went 2-for-8 on the power play and blew a two-goal lead in regulation.
Jaromir Jagr and Petr Prucha scored goals for the Rangers (4-2-2), who had a sizeable advantage in shots on goal, 38-28. Henrik Lundqvist made 24 saves.
The Islanders now have won 54 games in a row when leading after two periods.
