NFL: Tennessee 34, Houston 20

HOUSTON, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Steve McNair accounted for three touchdowns Sunday to help the Tennessee Titans beat the Houston Texans, 34-20.

McNair, who was 22-of-31 passing for 220 yards, threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third as the Titans improved to 2-3. Drew Bennett had five catches for 99 yards and one touchdown and Chris Brown added 78 rushing yards on 22 carries, as the Titans snapped a two-game losing streak to the Texans.

David Carr, who was sacked seven times, went 18-of-27 passing for 131 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Carr has been sacked 27 times through four games this season, and 167 times since the start of the 2002 season.

Domanick Davis had 130 yards rushing and caught eight passes for 43 yards for Houston, which remained winless at 0-4.
