CHICAGO, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Jeromy Burnitz hit a two-run homer in the seventh inning Sunday as the Chicago Cubs beat Houston, 3-2.
Derrek Lee added his 45th home run for the Cubs' other run.

Winner Jerome Williams improved to 6-9. Ryan Dempster registered his 31st save.
Houston's lead over Philadelphia in the National League wild-card battle dropped to one game.
Losing pitcher Mike Gallo dropped to 0-1 after his second blown save. The Cubs have won four of their last six home games.
