ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Toby Hall hit a key sacrifice fly Friday night to help the Tampa Bay Devil Rays slip past Texas, 2-1.

Alex Gonzalez had two hits and one RBI and Travis Lee and Jorge Cantu each had two hits for Tampa Bay, which has won three straight.

Winner Seth McClung (4-7) gave up one run and three hits in seven innings with one walk and five strikeouts.

Losing pitcher Juan Dominguez sank to 0-3. He gave up two runs on nine hits in 5 1/3 innings, walking one and fanning five.

Mark Teixeira had two hits and drove in the lone Rangers run.

Texas has lost 10 of 11.
