MLB: Toronto 12, Seattle 10

TORONTO, July 19 (UPI) -- Eric Hinske hit two two-run homers and Vernon Wells had three RBI Tuesday to lead the Toronto Blue Jays in a 12-10 slugfest over the Seattle Mariners.

The teams combined for 22 runs and 33 hits. Frank Catalanotto also had three hits along with two RBI and a pair of runs scored in the victory. Russ Adams contributed two RBI and a run for Toronto, which won for just the second time in eight games.

Toronto starter Ted Lilly (8-9) hung around long enough to get the win, going 5 1/3 innings and allowing five runs on seven hits.

Richie Sexson had three hits, including a a two-run homer, and three RBI and Ichiro Suzuki drove in a pair of runs for Seattle, which lost for just the third time in nine games. Randy Winn and Adrian Beltre also homered in the loss.
