MINNEAPOLIS, June 28 (UPI) -- Michael Ryan, Shannon Stewart and Luis Rivas singled in runs in the seventh Tuesday night as the Minnesota Twins outslugged the Kansas City Royals, 11-8.

Justin Morneau added a solo homer in the eighth inning for the final margin for Minnesota, which rallied from an 8-7 deficit to win its third straight game for the first time since June 5-8.

Third baseman Glenn Williams had an RBI single during Minnesota's four-run rally in the fourth inning to extended his hitting streak to 13 games. But Williams left the game later in the inning after injuring himself while sliding into third base.

Shane Costa went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and three RBI to lead the Royals, who have lost eight straight and 10 of their last 11 games.
