MIAMI, May 29 (UPI) -- The Florida Marlins used a five-run seventh inning Sunday in a 6-3 win over the New York Mets.
Carlos Delgado had the big hit in the explosion -- a three-run homer. He went 2-for-3 with four RBI to help the Marlins snap a four-game losing streak. Matt Treanor added three hits for Florida.

Winning pitcher Josh Beckett raised his record to 7-3. He gave up two runs and four hits over seven innings with four walks and five strikeouts. Todd Jones recorded his eighth save with a scoreless ninth inning.
Cliff Floyd drove in two runs and Doug Mientkiewicz hit a solo homer for the Mets. Loser Heath Bell dropped to 0-2.
