MIAMI, May 9 (UPI) -- Roger Clemens pitched seven shutout innings and Orlando Palmeiro drove in both runs Monday as the Houston Astros had a 2-1 win over the Florida Marlins.
Clemens (2-1) gave up four hits and struck out six with three walks. He earned his 330th career win to move ahead of Steve Carlton for ninth place on the all-time list. It ws his first victory since April 8.

Brad Lidge pitched a scoreless ninth for his sixth save, as the Astros won on the road for just the second time in 16 games this season.
Florida loser A.J. Burnett (3-3) struck out nine in seven innings. He allowed both Houston runs on six hits. Miguel Cabrera drove in the lone run for the Marlins.
