Kahne wins Busch series O'Reilly 300

FORT WORTH, Albania, April 16 (UPI) -- Kasey Kahne won the O'Reilly 300 Busch Series race at the Texas Motor Speedway Saturday by finishing 0.304 seconds ahead of second place Greg Biffle.

It was Kahne's first victory this season and second of his his career. He won at Homestead in 2003.

Just after Kahne took the lead, the final caution flag came out. The race restarted with three laps to go and Kahne was uncontested to the finish line while Biffle got around Reed Sorenson for second place.

Series leader Carl Edwards and Elliott Sadler completed the top-five.

Edwards' fourth-place finish left the Ford driver with a 76-point lead in the championship over Sorenson (1,271-1,195). Clint Bowyer (1,105) is third, 166 points behind Edwards.
