MILWAUKEE, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Mike James and Joe Smith each had 17 points Wednesday night and Milwaukee opened the fourth period with a big run to down New Jersey, 97-74.
Milwaukee halted a three-game losing streak.

New Jersey was led by 19 points from Jabari Smith while Richard Jefferson had 16.
The Bucks led from start to finish and owned an 11-point advantage going into the final period. Milwaukee then opened the fourth quarter with a 21-6 run.
