ALBUQUERQUE, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Chris Paul had 23 points and Justin Gray keyed a second-half run Wednesday night as No. 4 Wake Forest defeated New Mexico, 81-64.
The Demon Deacons (10-1) won their fifth straight with Gray adding 17 points and Taron Downey 16.

New Mexico (10-2) had won its previous six games. The Lobos were led by Danny Granger with 24.
Wake Forest had only a 48-45 lead before going on a 15-6 spurt. Gray scored eight straight points during the run.
