BOSTON, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony hit a jump shot with 3.6 seconds left Wednesday night, giving Denver a 100-99 victory over Boston.
Anthony scored with 25 points while Andre Miller had 19 and Kenyon Martin 18. The Nuggets won for the 11th time in 15 games.

Paul Pierce led Boston with 31 points and Ricky Davis had 13 of his 18 in the fourth period.
Boston opened as much as a six-point advantage in the final quarter before Denver went on a 13-2 surge. The Celtics took the lead with 10.7 seconds to go on two free throws by Pierce.
